THE REALISM

No detail has been overlooked in recreating the look and feel of outdoor play - every element of the golf course is depicted on the screen, from waving flags to water reflections. Each shot is incredibly realistic - balls spin on the green and even hit the flagstick. Be ready for all the usual hazards and rules of golf too - your ball hits trees and lands in bunkers just as it would outdoors - you just wont lose any balls.

Interactive sound effects and environmental elements such as wind and green speed, both adjustable, ensure you get the total golfing experience. In addition there are enhancements included that are not available to the outdoor golfer such as Top View, Side View, Reverse Replay and Automatic Scoring. The system is based around a dual tracking infra-red system which measures the ball 60,000 times as it flies to the screen. Accuracy and realism is the major attribute of the system, precision measurement is achieved with either the 300 metre drive or the 2 metre putt and every shot in between.
